The terms for using My Agent Team: accounts, acceptable use, children's logins, and how to reach us.
Parent Summary (Plain-English Overview)
My Agent Team features a team of AI characters designed to be engaging, educational and creative, all under adult supervision. Here’s what parents should know:

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the My Agent Team application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App. If you are a parent or legal guardian allowing a child to use the App, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your child and accept responsibility for their use.
We update these Terms from time to time. Adults are asked to accept them again when they change, and once a year; children see their notice again at the start of each school year.
2. Intended Audience, Parental Consent & Schools
The App is designed for children of about 5 to 14 as an educational and creative experience with AI characters, chosen and supervised by a parent, teacher or school. Children under 13 may use the App only with a parent’s or legal guardian’s consent and supervision. Consent is recorded for each child when their account is created, and before their first conversation every child is shown a short notice in their own words and confirms it.
Parents or guardians are responsible for:
- Granting permission for use
- Monitoring interactions
- Determining whether content is appropriate for their child
The App is not intended to replace parental guidance, teachers, or professional instruction. By allowing a child to use the App, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian and that you consent to their use of the App.
Schools
A school or teacher may enroll students with a class code. By doing so, the school confirms that it has the authority to enroll those students under its own policies and applicable law, and that it has obtained any consent the law requires. School staff supervise those students in the App: teachers for the students in their classes, and school admins for the whole school. That access is limited to their own school.
3. AI-Generated Content & Limitations
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate responses automatically.
Accuracy & Reliability
AI-generated responses may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. Contents should be treated as general educational or creative output, not verified facts.
No Professional Advice
The App does not provide medical, legal, psychological, educational, or financial advice. Do not rely on the App for decisions involving health, safety, education plans, or well-being.
Safety Controls
Two checks run on our servers for every child message: a topic guard (a built-in list for the child's rating plus the topics their adults block; a hit is refused, or for self-harm answered with care, and either way shown to the child's adults) and a moderation model. Despite these measures, no AI system can guarantee error-free or risk-free interactions.
No Real-Time Human Monitoring
Conversations are generated automatically. Every child message is screened by both checks before a character replies, and a message they flag is placed in Safety Review for the adults responsible for the child: their parents, and at a school their teachers and school admins. Messages are not reviewed by humans in real time.
4. Parental Responsibility & Supervision
Parents and guardians acknowledge and agree that:
- Children may misunderstand or misinterpret AI-generated responses
- Active supervision is recommended, especially for younger users
- Flagged messages and reports wait in Safety Review; looking there is part of supervision
Children should be encouraged to:
- Ask questions
- Verify information with trusted adults
- Report anything confusing or uncomfortable
The App is a tool, not a substitute for adult oversight.
5. User Conduct & Safety Rules
Users may not use the App to:
- Generate or request harmful, abusive, hateful, violent, or sexually explicit content
- Harass, bully, or threaten others
- Attempt to bypass safeguards or content restrictions (“jailbreaking”)
- Engage in illegal, unsafe, or deceptive activity
Reporting Concerns
If inappropriate or concerning content appears, use the Report / Flag feature within the App. Reports go to the adults responsible for the child (their parents, and at a school their teachers and school admins), who see them in Safety Review, read the conversation and decide what to do.
6. Accounts, Access & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time if:
- These Terms are violated
- The App is misused
- Continued use poses a safety or legal risk
Termination may occur without prior notice to protect users and the platform.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF CONTENT.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
MY AGENT TEAM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES
THIS INCLUDES DAMAGES ARISING FROM:
- RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT
- CHILD MISUSE OR MISUNDERSTANDING OF RESPONSES
- INTERRUPTION OR LOSS OF SERVICE
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID (IF ANY) TO USE THE APP.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Agent Team from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Your or your child’s use of the App
- Violation of these Terms
- Failure to provide appropriate supervision
11. Privacy & Children’s Data
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect information.
- We are committed to protecting children’s privacy
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent
- Parents may delete their child’s data in the App, or request a copy of it by writing to us, as described in the Privacy Policy
